How to Use the Herbal Tea Blend for Coughs

The most important concept to understand about using herbs to heal, is that herbs must be used early and often in order for them to be truly affective. At the first sign of a cough, begin drinking this herbal tea blend to help your body fight the cough before it gets worse. Drink 3 cups a day until you see improvement in your symptoms. Then drink it for a couple more days.

If you wait until your cough is advanced, the tea will help, but you will also need to take other measures to heal the cough such as inhaling warm steam, chest rubs, etc. It is important to use herbs as soon as you notice a symptom, use them often, and keep using them a couple of days after symptoms have disappeared to ensure healing.

If you are new to herbal medicine, it is hard to get out of the medicine mindset where you take a pill and for get about it for 4-6 hours. Set timers on your phone to remind yourself to pour another glass of tea and keep drinking to get relief and healing!
